SADC Urges All-inclusive Government in DRC

[SADC] Lusaka -His Excellency Mr Edgar Chagwa Lungu, President of the Republic of Zambia says given the strong objections to the provisional results of the presidential election in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the Southern African Development Community (SADC) has called on all political leaders to consider a negotiated political settlement for an all-inclusive government.

South African and Zambian Presidents Urge ‘Speedy’ Election Results

[RFI] South Africa's President Cyril Ramaphosa and Zambian President Edgar Lungu said on Wednesday that the electoral commission in the Democratic Republic of Congo should "speedily" release election results to help maintain peace and stability. The meeting between the two leaders of the Sadc regional bloc came as the Congolese electoral commission said it would publish results within 24 to 48 hours.
