Scotland Praises Director of Public Prosecutions Over Hichilema

[Times of Zambia] The Commonwealth has praised the decision by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Lillian Siyuni to drop treason charges against United Party for National Development (UPND) president Hakainde Hichilema, saying the move will help to progress peaceful dialogue.

    Not much can be said because HH has shown more immaturity than he has shown integrity. Apparently the government too has not had solid systems to provide consistent checks and balances so it leaves a lot of loopholes in the government which HH takes advantage of. Interesting enough ever since he was jailed there has been silence in the country(except for the fires). Now that he is out, the dust is yet again raised and hopefully no bloodshed.
