Zambian league champions Power Dynamos and Zimbabwean league champions Dynamos won their season opening games by collecting the Charity Shield over the weekend. Power Dynamos beat Nchanga Rangers 3-1 at Konkola Stadium in Chililabombwe while in Harare Dynamos beat Motor Action 2-1 at National Sports Stadium.
