This performance has been lauded by many independent international observers and Zambia has been dubbed by the Economist magazine as ‘the lion kings’ putting Zambia alongside the Asian tigers.” The Washington, DC based think-tank Heritage Foundation and The Wall Street Journal have ranked Zambia number 91 freest economy for 2011.
