Beston Chitala, an Environmental Engineer, talks to Gerald Chungu who is an architect and Urban Designer. Gerald has worked in Zambia but now lives and lectures Building Construction in South Africa at the famous University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. He will discuss his experiences as an Urban Planner in Zambia also give his views as to why Zambias planning and design standards lag behind international standards and those in most of the Southern Africa region. His experiences may also give us some insights into issues concerning unplanned settlements that we have aired before on this program. This is hot hot hot topic not to be missed.
